CEDAR for AMS AudioFile
There are two reasons why CEDAR provides a powerful range of restoration tools to run on other manufacturers' products. Firstly, there are those processes that are not suitable for real-time processing, and for which the ability to load, store and analyse the audio is of great benefit. Secondly, there are those users for whom a single, integrated approach to restoration and mastering is most suitable.

CEDAR dehiss for
Dehiss is a sophisticated process that uses an enhanced version of spectral subtraction to identify and remove broadband noise from recordings. Users can manipulate the noise reduction parameters whilst auditioning, making Dehiss particularly versatile and suitable for cleaning up noisy location recordings or removing unwanted tape noise.
The AudioFile SC allows users to manipulate many aspects of Dehiss and audition the results in real-time. The system will process single events or, by tagging, whole tracks of sections of audio. The process requires no additional hardware to run on a SAM-equipped AudioFile SC.
Once the user locates the cue or event that needs to be processed, the whole operation can be performed with just a single key press. Furthermore, processing takes place far quicker than real time - so the user can get on with editing.
CEDAR declick for
CEDAR Declick for AMS Neve performs at high speed without sacrificing CEDAR quality, and addresses the widest possible range of scratch and click removal problems.
It allows the user to process part or all of an entire playlist as an off-line process. Remarkably, there is no need for user-controls, and the automatic process will cope with even the most severely damaged audio.
CEDAR decrackle for
CEDAR decrackle for AMS Neve AudioFile removes the tiny clicks, crackles and "grunge" from vintage discs and vinyl LPs, eliminates many types of buzz, and can be extremely effective at reducing amplitude distortions.
With no parameters for you to worry about, CEDAR's adaptive algorithms identify and remove all of these noises automatically, making it as applicable to film soundtrack restoration, audio forensics and broadcast as it is to traditional audio restoration jobs such as CD remastering.
